Kristen Stewart Looks So Different With a Bold New Hair Color

Kristen Stewart‘s new look is one of her boldest yet. In fact, she’s practically unrecognizable. After going bleach blonde in January of this year, Stewart added a subtle ombré and later debuted playful pink tips in her hair at Cannes in May. It seems she really, really liked the pink because now, her hair appears to be completely neon pink, from root to tip.
Stewart debuted her bold new look while out on a walk with wife Dylan Meyer in Los Angeles on July 27. In photos published by the Daily Mail, the Twilight actress could be seen walking next to Meyer with their dog. Both wore sporty green shorts and gray t-shirts. Stewart wore her bright orange-pink hair piled atop her head in a messy bun with choppy microbangs falling across her forehead.
Stewart has certainly been on quite the hair journey in 2025, experimenting with bleach, ombré, and even colored tips—but her latest neon look is her most daring look yet.
Stewart has always had an urge to experiment with her hair. “If I wasn’t an actor, I would definitely do things to my hair,” she told Into the Gloss over a decade ago in 2014. “I would cut it more, I would dye it more. At some point I want to do a total boy cut, completely—not a pretty, girly version—like a straight up James Dean haircut.”
This year, Stewart revealed that her dip-dyed pink hair wasn’t just about experimenting—it was a comment on The Chronology of Water, her directorial debut, which she was bringing to Cannes at the time. “It’s a bloody motif. I wanted to bring a little bit of the movie into my body,” she said to Vulture of the look.
